The Marshalltown Community School District (MCSD) was honored with several communication awards from the Iowa School Public Relations Association (ISPRA) during the organization’s annual spring conference.
ISPRA, a statewide chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), held its spring conference on April 3–4, 2025. The organization is comprised of school public relations professionals, superintendents, and educational leaders dedicated to fostering understanding and support for education in Iowa.
As part of the conference, an awards ceremony recognized outstanding communication projects submitted for judging by communication professionals from across the country. MCSD submitted entries in a majority of the 10 possible categories. In total, 112 entries were submitted by 17 school districts across Iowa.
MCSD received two Blue & Gold Awards, which signify the best in the state. The district also earned eight Awards of Excellence, recognizing high-quality communication materials and campaigns. The awarded projects include:
