The Marshalltown Community School District (MCSD) Employee of the Quarter Award highlights individuals who exemplify excellence in service and attitude, positively impacting our students, staff, families, and the broader community. In the first quarter for the 2024-25 school year, we are proud to recognize Charlotte Santana at Marshalltown High School with the Employee of the Quarter Award, whose dedication and positive influence have made a lasting impression.

Why did you decide join the Marshalltown Community School District?
I joined Marshalltown Community School District right out of college and have loved every moment since. I chose MCSD because I loved the diversity and saw that Marshalltown would be a great place to raise our family.
What do you enjoy most about being a member of the Bobcat community?
I enjoy working with students with diverse backgrounds and empowering them to make positive change.
What about your role at MCSD surprises you?
What surprises me about my role at MCSD is I can develop new skills via the opportunities that are placed before me. MSCD has helped me grow tremendously.
In your opinion, what makes Marshalltown Community School District special?
MCSD is special because it bring students from diverse backgrounds together and strives to help them experience success.
What does it mean to you to be a Bobcat?
Being a Bobcat means working together to empower students they never thought possible.
